This article is general food information, not medical advice. Celery Week is a routine, not a treatment. Nothing here is a claim that our juice improves, prevents or cures any condition.
Where The Routine Comes From
The seven-day celery routine was popularised by a wellness author rather than by clinical research. It has stayed popular because it is simple and because people enjoy having one consistent morning habit. We sell celery juice to people doing it — but we would rather you understood what it is and what it is not.
How People Actually Do It
- 500ml–1L of pure celery juice per day
- First thing in the morning, before breakfast and before coffee
- Nothing added — no lemon, no ginger, no water
- About 20 minutes before eating or drinking anything else
- Seven consecutive days is the usual minimum
The "nothing added" rule matters mainly because of taste and consistency. Adding lemon or ginger changes it into a different drink entirely — which is fine, but it is no longer the single-ingredient routine people signed up for.
On Juice Quality
If you do this routine, use fresh, refrigerated, unpasteurised celery juice and keep it cold. Store-bought shelf-stable celery juice is a different product, heat-treated and often noticeably duller in flavour. Our Wellness Week Bundle (7 × 1L) is raw cold-pressed celery, washed in ozonated water, with nothing added — and it needs to stay refrigerated.
The Honest Day-By-Day
Most online versions of this article tell you exactly what will happen on each day, in what order. We are not going to do that, because we cannot know how your body will respond and you should not be sold a guaranteed timeline.
Day 1: The taste is the main event. Celery juice is salty, green and grassy. Some people find it easy; some people find it genuinely confronting. Nothing much else happens.
Days 2–3: The hardest part is doing it again. Celery juice is high in water, so drinking 500ml–1L on an empty stomach is a lot of fluid first thing, and some people notice more trips to the bathroom in the morning. That is ordinary and is not a sign of anything dramatic being "cleared".
Days 4–5: By now the taste stops being a surprise. People vary widely here — some feel nothing particular, and that is the most common outcome. Others simply enjoy having a settled morning routine. Any change you notice is individual to you.
Days 6–7: The routine has become automatic. This is the real value for most people: one thing done consistently, every morning, for a week. At the end you decide whether celery juice earns a permanent place in your morning or whether you move on.
Claims You Should Treat With Suspicion
You will see celery juice described online as repairing the gut lining, clearing pathogens, lowering blood pressure, restoring stomach acid, or clearing skin. Those are treatment claims for food. We do not make them, and you should be sceptical of anyone selling juice who does. "Sodium cluster salts" in particular is not an established scientific concept.
Who Should Be Careful
Because our juice is unpasteurised, it is not recommended for pregnant women, young children, older adults, or anyone with a weakened immune system. Celery can also cause allergic reactions in some people, and drinking large quantities of celery juice may not suit everyone — if you take medication, are watching your sodium intake, or have a health condition, ask your GP or an accredited dietitian first.

Day seven is a decision point, not a finish line. Some people keep celery juice in the morning indefinitely because they like it. Some do it occasionally. Plenty of people decide celery is not for them and prefer one of our other juices instead — and that is a completely reasonable outcome.
If you do want to keep a morning routine going, Immuni-Tea is the smooth ginger-lemon-honey option, and Beetroid is the one people build around gym days. Pick the flavour you will actually drink every morning. A habit you abandon on day nine is worth less than one you keep.
